Reaching Out
So it's time to send out an email
Check out these tips below, as well as the copy of my email to Eastland Veterinary Clinic, asking for a placement, to get some ideas. If you're still stuck, don't hesitate to ask your teachers for help, and certainly don't send anything without it being checked and proof-read by someone else!
Things to include

-
Your name, age and school
-
The dates you intend to spend doing work experience
-
What you hope to be gaining from the placement
-
Any relevant contact details

Don't forget to be polite, and communicate with your teacher and family so that you can be as flexible as possible with the hours you can attend your chosen placement.

Getting past this first step early on can be crucial for a spot in places such as Veterinary clinics, as there is high demand from university and high school students alike,
